ABOUT
"All I can say is that my life is pretty plain,
I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two,
And speak my point of view,
But it's not sane,
It's not sane."

I feel that there are some gems in the horror genre that have been either overlooked or overshadowed, some that deserve more credit and some love, sadly the truth is that alot of these will only get it from the select few who have heard of them. Black Sheep(2006) is one of these movies.

Black Sheep is one of my favorite monster movies and probably my favorite from my generation, but I feel that it is overshadowed by Dog Soldiers, another amazing monster movie.

Not many people have heard of Black Sheep, it’s an awesome little movie from New Zealand, it’s full of campy, gory, comedic delight.

A lot people who have heard of it probably never gave the movie a chance due to its outlandish premise, zombie sheep…and were-sheep….no I am not kidding you.

I know that it sounds rediculous, but I promise you, if you give this funny little movie a chance you will find it immensely enjoyable. I pop in this flick whenever I’m in the mood for some gory fun, and it never fails to make me smile.

Boogeyman 2 (2007)

Oh my God…this movie is sooooooo bad! But I love it so much! Because unlike the first and third in the series this one is genius bad.

It’s about a bunch of teens with phobias who live in a hospital where they are being treated, but then they suddenly start dying off according to their fears…It’s so awful but it’s lovable I swear!

Or maybe not lol it’s pretty bad, but hey, I love this cheesy little flick.

Psycho (1998)

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Nononononononononononononononononono…just no.

WHY?! erjigopweongfiejwrtiwergjksdhfgklwekrht!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When it comes to zombie films (A.K.A. my favorite horror genre) there will never be a film that can top Dead Alive/Brain Dead.

It’s just impossible, pure and simple. The gory glee that Peter Jackson created in this movie is legendary. Not only is this my favorite zombie film, it’s also my favorite horror film and on my over all top ten. There is an adorably campy feel to this movie that just doesn’t get old, when you take a geeky guy like Lionel and add zombies, there’s just no going wrong.

And let’s not forget the lawnmower scene…

I love this movie.

31 Days of Horror:

Day 3-A horror movie that scared you as a child.

My childhood was terrorized by PennyWise the Dancing Clown from IT. Not only did it make afraid of the dark, it made me afraid of sinks, showers, storm drains, basements, libraries, fridges, and most of all…Clowns. And my dad never forgot either.

31 Days of Horror Challenge: Day 2: Favorite horror themed TV show.
No contest whatsoever, Supernatural is most definitely the best freaking horror show ever on the air. I mean I love the X-Files, Death Valley, Are You Afraid of the Dark? and plenty more, but I feel that SPN is the most relatable to wider audiences. People that don’t like the horror genre in general like SPN, so I love how it branches over some culture, plus the many references to horror films directors, etc. whether subtle or obvious always make my day.

31 Days of Horror: Day one: Favorite horror movie remake. My favorite horror remake is definitely the Crazies, it is one of my favorite horror movies of the twenty first century, considering that most of the contemporary movies really suck. But the Crazies is just perfect, Romero himself said that his original didn’t live up to its’ potential, so the remake was made to do just that and it really did. It is creative, brutal, and the acting is phenomenal, I mean if you put Timothy Olyphant and Joe Anderson in the same film you’re gonna get an amazing movie.I do have to give credit to the Friday the thirteenth remake though. Jared Padalecki + Jason? YUM
